VOLUNTEER POSITION: New Vision the church is in need of a volunteer to come answer the phones Mon- Fri from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. thank you, Pastor Nance.

BLACK COLLEGE FAIR: The Historically Black College Fair will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m. at Tryed Stone New Beginning church, 5550 Reading Road 45237.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN: The UMW invite New Vision to attend Ohio River Valley UMW Annual Day, “ A Racial Justice Event” on September 24, 2016, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm @ Gaines UMC. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Don Wilson. Registration is $10.00. Lunch and a Continental Breakfast are included. Everyone is invited. If you are interested in attending please contact Geraldine Calmeise for details and to pay your registration. Deadline for registration is September 16, 2016.

World Communion Sunday: Sunday October 2, 2016 one of the 6 designated special connectional offerings. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” And because the people of The United Methodist Church believe that all of God’s children have been created and gifted to build the kingdom Jesus ushered in, we’re resourcing them to do just that. Because of your giving on World Communion Sunday, the most powerful tool to change the world is in more hands. There will be a special envelope for your offering. NEW MEMBERS CLASS REVISED: New member’s class will be held here at New Vision. Class one will be on Saturday, October 1st and class two October 8th. Both classes will begin at 10 am – 12 pm. These classes are open to all members and perspective members. Please contact Sylvia Kennedy at 513-531-8025 or the church 513-961-4817 to RSVP by September 18th.

SAVE THE DATE: Women’s Day will be held October 30, 2016. Theme: Love in Action keynote speaker Sister Faith Daniels. We are requesting the women to contribute $100 and the men support of $50. HOLD THAT DATE FOR HALLE-BRATION 2016: A Hallelujah Celebration for the holidays. This is our
annual City-wide holiday celebration and gift mall. This year it will be held on December 10 at New
Vision from 10 am -4 pm. We will have more vendors and some new features this year. Keep listening
for everything.

2016 ELECTION: If you have moved or changed your address, or did not vote in the last Presidential election, please make sure you check your voter registration. If you need to register, there are materials on the Welcome Center desk. You can give your completed form to Kathye Lewis or Helen Merritt. We will make sure it is turned in to the County. Do not ignore this election. It is very important. Our lives depend on your vote.
