Are you leaving an inheritance? – Proverbs 13.22
(“A good man/woman leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.)
As you look at how you are being blessed in this life, are you leaving an inheritance for your children’s children? God looks upon our net worth as the sum total of all you have given away. If you give to others to help them grow and develop, you are building up lives that impact our world. If you waste your money and time, you are not building a legacy or helping others to improve our world. What you don’t share is lost forever. We read about those who have passed away suddenly with no wills or directives for their wealth. It gets tied up for years in courts and lawyers get the money to sort things out. What if we plan our giving so that we build up our church, our neighborhood and our families? We can see the benefits that this would make for all of us. Follow God’s plan and give as God would have you to give. You will be richly blessed.
