NEW VISION UMC CAMP: Camp for the children will be April 29th thru May 1st. Applications are available at the Welcome desk, applications are due April 17th. Volunteers are needed please contact Lynn Blalock.

BOARD SECRETARY POSITION: This volunteer position will be available July 1, 2016. Responsibilities include taking minutes, distribution of notices and other information as needed. If you interested please contact Helen Merritt for more information.

WORSHIP COMMITTEE: The Worship Committee will meet on Wednesday, April 27th at 5:00 p.m. please plan to attend.

OHIO RIVER VALLEY ANNUAL CONFERENCE: The ORV district is in need of 70 people to attend conference as lay members at large, if you have a church member (or perhaps even your spouse!) who may want to be a voting lay member, we would love to have them fill one of our open spots. The district office will reimburse $100 towards his/her expenses. Any interested persons should contact Nancy Newton at the district office 513-421-2057 or www.orvumc.org.

THANK YOU: Thank you New Vision UMC for your support of the Kentucky State Choir this year. We raised $500.00 for our Scholarship Fund, our Committee and other Members worked diligently to make this effort a success. Thanks again, Colette Morgan.

BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS: There will be no Blood Pressure Screenings this month we apologize for any inconvenience. Screenings will resume the 4th Sunday in May. Thank you Conchita Bowers

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN: The United Methodist Women invite you to attend their “Stay at Home Tea” on May 1, 2016. Purchase your tea cup and cookies from the United Methodist Women at either the 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. service. Then relax at home and share a cup of tea with us and help support the over 250 missions here and throughout the world that work every day to make the lives of women, children and youth better. THE LAST ENCORE: One of Cincinnati’s own has written and produced a compelling stage play “The Last Encore.” It is showing at the Aronoff Center one day only, April 30, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. tickets start at $35 and $30 for groups of ten or more or you can call the ticket office at 513-621-ARTS.

WOMEN OF VISION: The Women of Vision will meet at LaRosa’s Pizzeria at the corner of Galbraith & Winton Roads Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 1:00 until 3 pm. We have secured a private room for our gathering. Please see Virginia Hardin if you plan to attend.

TEAM NEW VISION UMC: The 13th Annual Hunger Walk is May 30, 2016. Support Team New Vison UMC Food Pantry by making a donation. All money donated comes back to our Food Pantry. Last year with your support we raised over $900.00. Consider joining our team and walk with us on May 30th!!! There is Pledge Sheet located at the Welcome Center. WE KNOW WE CAN COUNT ON YOU. CLASSICAL ROOTS: 150 Voice Choir of Classical Roots will be giving a 1 night only concert at Music Hall Friday, April 29, 2016 @ 7:30 pm. There are at least 10 members of New Vision who participate in this great concert, also featuring Grammy Award winning artist “Common” who will be singing the song Glory from the movie “Selma”. New Vision receives a percentage of tickets sold from our church. Betty Smith will be taking orders for two more weeks. If you choose to purchase your tickets you will need to give Music Hall box office this number: 11070 so that New Vision will receive the credit. Thank you.
