EVANGELISM MEETING: The Evangelism Ministry will meet TODAY, immediately following 11 am. Service thank you, Tamela Black.

MESSAGE TO NEW VISION WOMEN: Hello you wonderful Women of New Vision UMC, I am asking if you have 2 books; Ruth & Bathsheba unveiled, written by Francine Rivers. Please return them so that
other women may be able to read them. There are 5 books in the series which also, include Tamar Rahab & Mary. Please give to Tonya in the office thank you, Maxine Johnson.

NEW VISION UMC CAMP: Camp for the children will be April 29th thru May 1st. Applications are available at the Welcome desk, applications are due April 17th. Volunteers are needed please contact Lynn Blalock.

OHIO RIVER VALLEY ANNUAL CONFERENCE: The ORV district is in need of 70 people to attend conference as lay members at large, if you have a church member (or perhaps even your spouse!) who may want to be a voting lay member, we would love to have them fill one of our open spots. The district office will reimburse $100 towards his/her expenses. Any interested persons should contact Nancy Newton at the district office 513-421-2057 or www.orvumc.org.

NATIVE AMERICAN MINISTRIES SUNDAY: TODAY is Native American Sunday, which is one of the designated special Mission Days of the United Methodist Church. Please mark your envelopes Native American Offering. Your gift encourages aspiring leaders within the Native American community, educates seminarians and empowers outreach within the Native American Culture. There will be a special envelope for your offering on Sunday April 10th. Thanking you in advance for your generous donation.

USHER BOARD: There will be an Usher Board meeting on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. We are inviting all active Ushers (adults & youth) and anyone who would like to join the Usher’s Board. If you have any questions please contact Gene Blalock 513-560-0007.

MISSION U: Learn about the missions of the church. Take time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for fellowship and spiritual growth on the beautiful campus of Ohio Northern University. Come for the week, weekend or just for a day. Scholarships are available for first time attendees. There are programs for adults, youth and children. If you are interested in attending and want to apply for a scholarship please see any United Methodist Woman. Applications are available on the UMW table in the rear of the sanctuary. Scholarship applications must be submitted by April 15th. Looking forward to seeing you at Mission U.

TEAM NEW VISION UMC: The 13th Annual Hunger Walk is May 30, 2016. Support Team New Vison UMC Food Pantry by making a donation. All money donated comes back to our Food Pantry. Last year with
your support we raised over $900.00. Consider joining our team and walk with us on May 30th!!! There is Pledge Sheet located at the Welcome Center. WE KNOW WE CAN COUNT ON YOU. If more information is needed please see Karen Brentley, Sylvia Kennedy or Pat Simmons.

KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY CHOIR: The annual appearance of the Kentucky State University Concert Choir will be Friday, April 15, 2016, at Tryed Stone New Beginning Church, 5550 Reading Road, 45237.
Tickets are $10.00 and benefit New Vision’s Scholarship Fund. Please see any member of the Scholarship Committee; Colette Morgan, Naomi Barkley, Geraldine Calmeise, Ronald Coleman, Elaine Hubbard, or Jewell Johnson please purchase a ticket soon to help our New Vision Scholarship Fund.

CLASSICAL ROOTS: 150 Voice Choir of Classical Roots will be giving a 1 night only concert at Music Hall Friday, April 29, 2016 @ 7:30 pm. There are at least 10 members of New Vision who participate in this
great concert, also featuring Grammy Award winning artist “Common” who will be singing the song Glory from the movie “Selma”. New Vision receives a percentage of tickets sold from our church. Betty Smith will be taking orders for two more weeks. If you choose to purchase your tickets you will need to give Music Hall box office this number: 11070 so that New Vision will receive the credit.
