ALTAR FLOWERS: Are you considering donating flowers? There are still dates available in the months of: March, May, June, July, August, October, November and December.

NEW VISION UMC: The second week of February, New Vision UMC started a church wide Lenten series entitled “Revealed in Red”. Our series this year is six weeks and in order to create synergy we are requesting that each small group purchase and utilize the materials for the entire study. The cost for  the booklets and matching playing cards is $3.00. A schedule will be available this Sunday for all classes. The series will end Palm Sunday. If you have any questions, you may call the church or contact someone from the worship committee.

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING: TODAY, March 6th, is one of the 6 designated Mission Sundays. Your gift supports the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) as it responds to disaster survivors and people in need around the world; in addition to supporting community development efforts that enrich the lives of God’s children around the world. There will be a special envelope for your offering on Sunday, March 6th. Thanking you in advance for your support.

NEW VISION’S VERY OWN: Jahnay Harris, the daughter of James & Julie Harris, has been selected as a contestant in the Miss Black Teen Cincinnati 2016 pageant. Jahnay needs your support by being a patron, purchasing an ad for the souvenir booklet, and/or buying a ticket. Miss Black Teen Cincinnati will be held on April 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm. MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Men’s Bible Study has been changed to the 3rd Sunday of each month beginning at 10:00 am. Please make note and plan to attend.

NEW VISION UMC: New Vision UMC will host a Fundraiser for Hezekiah McNeal on Saturday, March 19th from 3-6 pm. this loving father, husband, friend, grandfather and noted singer suffered a serious stroke on September 15, 2015 after performing at a revival, and is still recuperating. Friends of Hezekiah are coming together for 100 Boots on the Ground raise money for his medical expenses. His Pastor, Elder Rodney Posey and his church Impact Worship Center, will be present to sponsor this event, along with several other groups in the city. Over 22 groups and performers will be present to pay tribute to him and his family. Some of the artist are the Hearn Sisters (P. Ann Everson Price), The All Star Band (David Stewart), Ellis Williams ( saxophonist), The Western Hills Dance Team, Kenny Smith’s Peace & Serenity, The Cincinnati Super choir (Kathye Lewis) and many others. Fliers are available at the Welcome Center and we hope all of you will be able to support this effort. KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY CHOIR: The annual appearance of the Kentucky State University Concert Choir will be Friday, April 15, 2016, at Tryed Stone New Beginning Church, 5550 Reading Road, 45237.
Tickets are $10.00 and benefit New Vision’s Scholarship Fund. See any member of the Scholarship Committee or Naomi Barkley for tickets.

CLASSICAL ROOTS: 150 Voice Choir of Classical Roots will be giving a 1 night only concert at Music Hall Friday, April 29, 2016 @ 7:30 pm. there are at least 10 members of New Vision who participate in this great concert. New Vision receives a percentage of tickets sold from our church. Get your tickets now from Betty Smith.
