NEW VISION UMC CAMP: Camp for the children will be April 29th thru May 1st. Applications are available at the Welcome desk, applications are due April 17th. Volunteers are needed please contact Lynn Blalock.

WOMEN OF VISION: The Women of Vision will meet April 2, 2016 from 1-to 3 p.m. Please come prepared to discuss the book of Philippians which will be led by Karen Dobbins. Immediately after the Retreat Committee will meet all women are invited to attend. Thank you

HEALTH & WELLNESS: Blood pressure screenings will be not be held this month. We will resume screenings in April. Provided by Interim Health Care and sponsored by The American Heart Association.

USHER BOARD: There will be an Usher Board meeting on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. We are inviting all active Ushers (adults & youth) and anyone who would like to join the Usher’s Board. If you have any questions please contact Gene Blalock 513-560-0007.

NATIVE AMERICAN MINISTRIES SUNDAY: Sunday April 10th, is Native American which is one of the designated special Mission Days of the United Methodist Church. Your gift encourages aspiring leaders within the Native American community, educates seminarians and empowers outreach within the Native American Culture. There will be a special envelope for your offering on Sunday April 10th. Thanking you in advance for your generous donation.

NEW VISION’S VERY OWN: Jahnay Harris, the daughter of James & Julie Harris, has been selected as a contestant in the Miss Black Teen Cincinnati 2016 pageant. Jahnay needs your support by being a patron, purchasing an ad for the souvenir booklet, and/or buying a ticket. Miss Black Teen Cincinnati will be held on April 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm. MISSION U: Learn about the missions of the church. Take time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for fellowship and spiritual growth on the beautiful campus of Ohio Northern University. Come for the week, weekend or just for a day. Scholarships are available for first time attendees. There are programs for adults, youth and children. If you are interested in attending and want to apply for a scholarship please see any United Methodist Woman. Applications are available on the UMW table in  the rear of the sanctuary. Scholarship applications must be submitted by April 15th. Looking forward to seeing you at Mission U.

KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY CHOIR: The annual appearance of the Kentucky State University Concert Choir will be Friday, April 15, 2016, at Tryed Stone New Beginning Church, 5550 Reading Road, 45237. Tickets are $10.00 and benefit New Vision’s Scholarship Fund. Please see any member of the Scholarship Committee; Colette Morgan, Naomi Barkley, Geraldine Calmeise, Ronald Coleman, Elaine Hubbard, or Jewell Johnson please purchase a ticket soon to help our New Vision Scholarship Fund.

CLASSICAL ROOTS: 150 Voice Choir of Classical Roots will be giving a 1 night only concert at Music Hall Friday, April 29, 2016 @ 7:30 pm. There are at least 10 members of New Vision who participate in this great concert, also featuring Grammy Award winning artist “Common” who will be singing the song Glory from the movie “Selma”. New Vision receives a percentage of tickets sold from our church. Betty Smith will be taking orders for two more weeks. If you choose to purchase your tickets you will need to give Music Hall box office this number: 11070 so that New Vision will receive the credit. Thank you.
