NEW VISION’S VERY OWN: Jahnay Harris, the daughter of James & Julie Harris, has been selected as a contestant in the Miss Black Teen Cincinnati 2016 pageant. Jahnay needs your support by being a patron, purchasing an ad for the souvenir booklet, and/or buying a ticket. Miss Black Teen Cincinnati will be held on April 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm. ANNUAL EASTER PROGRAM: The Children & Youth will have rehearsals for their Annual Easter Program “At the Cross” presented Easter morning at 9:30 am. Next rehearsal is Saturday March 19th and then Friday March 25th at 5:30 pm. please bring your children out to be a part of this presentation, Thank you.

NEW VISION UMC: New Vision UMC will be host for a Fundraiser for Hezekiah McNeal on Saturday, March 19 from 3-p.m. This loving father, husband, friend, grandfather and noted singer suffered a serious stroke on September 15, 2015 after performing at a revival, and is still recuperating. Friends of Hezekiah are coming together for 100 Boots on the Ground to raise money for his medical expenses. His Pastor, Elder Rodney Posey and his church Impact Worship Center, will be present to sponsor this event, along with several other groups in the city. Over 22 groups and performers will be present to pay tribute to him and his family. Some of the artists featured are the Hearn Sisters (P. Ann Everson Price), The All Star Band (David Stewart), Ellis Williams (saxophonist), The Western Hills Dance Team, Kenny Smith’s Peace & Serenity, The Cincinnati Superchoir (Kathye Lewis) and many others. Fliers are available at the welcome center and we hope all of you will be able to support this effort. KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY CHOIR: The annual appearance of the Kentucky State University Concert Choir will be Friday, April 15, 2016, at Tryed Stone New Beginning Church, 5550 Reading Road, 45237. Tickets are $10.00 and benefit New Vision’s Scholarship Fund. Please see any member of the Scholarship Committee; Colette Morgan, Naomi Barkley, Geraldine Calmeise, Ronald Coleman, Elaine Hubbard, or Jewell Johnson please purchase a ticket soon to help our New Vision Scholarship Fund.

CLASSICAL ROOTS:  150 Voice Choir of Classical Roots will be giving a 1 night only concert at Music Hall Friday, April 29, 2016 @ 7:30 pm. there are at least 10 members of New Vision who participate in this great concert, also featuring Grammy Award winning artist “Common” who will be singing the song Glory from the movie “Selma”. New Vision receives a percentage of tickets sold from our church. Get your tickets now from Betty Smith.
