THANK YOU!!    New Vision received a letter and a grant for $10,000 from the District for the Food Pantry.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the celebration of Reggie Brown’s life last Friday.  A special thanks to Forest Chapel for hosting and providing hospitality, and to New Vision for their generous contributions to the meal.

 “LENTEN GLEANERS”– Don’t forget to get your Lenten gleaner to make your forty-day sacrifice of a quarter a day until Easter Sunday.  The money raised will be used to pay on our apportionments.  Gleaners are available at the Usher’s station. Thanks,

ALTAR FLOWERS:  There are still dates available in the months of April, May, June, July, August, October, and November to purchase Flowers to beautify the Altar. Heartfelt thanks from the Altar Guild for those of you who have signed to donate flowers for 2018. APPLYING THE WORD:  The Sunday morning Bible Study following worship has begun a new topic-driven Bible Study.  It is based on the book:  When GOD Comes to Church by Steve Gaines. Now is a perfect time to join, as we are still accepting orders for this book, however there are no used ones available, so the cost of the new book is $19.99.  We are excited about this new study.  Won’t you join us?  If you would like to order this book, please contact Vanessa Bossard or the Church Office.

THE WOMEN OF VISIONwill meet on Saturday, March 3, at 1:00 p.m.  Please come prepared to discuss the first five chapters of the book “Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven.  Immediately following the Retreat Committee will meet. If you have any questions please see V. Hardin.

THE KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY CONCERT CHOIR: will give its annual recital at Tried Stone New Beginning Church, 5500 Reading Road 45237 on Friday March 9, 2018 at 7:00 pm.  New Vision’s Scholarship Committee is again selling $10.00 tickets as a Fundraiser. Please see any member of the committee or Naomi Barkley for tickets.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN:  The Ohio River Valley District United Methodist Women will be holding their spring Retreat on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Middletown First United Methodist Church.  For details please see Deborah Watkins.

CLASSICAL ROOTS CONCERT- April 20, 2018, 7:30 pm:  Please join us for the Classical Roots concert at Music Hall this year.  We have many of our members singing again and it will be a great concert in the newly renovated Music Hall.  Tickets are being held for our group for a limited time.  There are $25 seats and $40 seats.  You can also purchase tickets individually with our church code, 11070, and the church will get a percentage of the tickets sold.  You do not have to be a member to use our code, so let all your friends know.  If you want to be in the New Vision group, please see either Ms. Betty Smith or Ms. Kathye Lewis.  You will need to have your money turned in by March 25. The church benefits from all tickets that are sold with our code so please make sure you use it if you purchase your tickets outside of the New Vision group.  Thank you, Kathye Lewis and Betty Smith.

Youth Program: Children’s church is every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday. Children 11& under will be dismissed after the last worship song. Youth Sunday school for 12 & up is immediately after service, unless the otherwise announced.  See Sister Vanessa Bossard for details.
