Dear New Vision Family:

We have ended 2016 with a few financial hiccups in the road. Starting in 2017 the financial team will be keeping you up-to-date on the financial status of our church. Let’s begin by saying…Thank you to everyone who stepped up to make sure that 2016 ended on a positive note. Now we can start 2017 afresh!

We would like to let everyone know the monthly expenditures (utilities, mortgages, salaries, loans, and district and conference obligations) the church has each month. Our monthly obligations cost approximately $39,000 per month. This means we need to receive an offering of approximately $9,700 each Sunday to meet our expenses. There are other needs in the church we must look at such as the indoor and outdoor lighting and upkeep on the HVAC system, to name a few. We are looking at developing a strong stewardship initiative to help offset some of the mentioned items.

Each week in the bulletin you will be able to see the weekly tithes and offerings. Our tithes and offering are what is used for operating expenses. We are working hard on honoring people’s giving allocations. Please be patient with us as we try to work through our current finances.

“Honor the Lord with thy substance, And with the first fruits of all thine increase”
Proverbs 3:9

Yours in Christ,

The Finance Team
