FOOD PANTRY: For the Month of November, please donate Boxed Stuffing Mix and Boxed Cake Mix. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry.

Save-A-Lot: Bags for a brighter Holiday: This year our partner Save-A-Lot designated New Vision as their community organization this year to bless with Bags for a brighter Holiday. They will be collecting donated bags
$5.99 each to our food pantry. To date, We have been bless with over 90 bags of groceries that we will be
disturbing during our Food Pantry distribution on Thursday, November 17th. Please stop by the Bond Hill Save-ALot and donate a bag of grocery today. This event will continue until December 24th. Thank you!

Thanksgiving Community Luncheon: Thursday November 17,2016 11:00 am– 2:00 pm all are welcome. If you are interested in volunteering there is a signup sheet at the Welcome Desk.

Thanksgiving Baskets: If you know of a family that is in need of a Thanksgiving food basket, please have them
contact the church. They will need to leave their name and contact number where they can be reached. We will
be calling each individual with the date and time to pick up their basket.

New Vision’s 2017 Calendar of Events Form is available today. The form is a planning tool to be used for the
organization of our Church Calendar of Events for 2017. We would like to include information from all our
ministries, committees and programs in the 2017 calendar. The identification and confirmation of dates will insure
that ministry activities do not conflict. We encourage you to create programs/events for our youth, young adults,
adults and seniors that engage our Church Family to reach out into the community. The calendar team members
are, Elaine Hubbard, Cynthia Lockhart, Helen Moran, Collette Morgan, and Eileen Thomas. Thank you for your
attention to this request. Deadline to submit this form is Sunday December 4, 2016

United Methodist Student Day: Sunday, November 27th is United Methodist Student Day, this is the last of the 6 designated Special Sundays of the Church. Your gift enriches ministry and connects students to their faith; in
addition to furnishing scholarships and loans for students attending United Methodist –related and other
accredited colleges and universities. There will be a special envelope on Sunday November 27th for your
donation. Thanking you in advance for your generous support.

WOMEN OF VISION: The Christmas gift. We will be collecting the following items to donated to the Wesley Child Care Educational Center. The following items has been requested: baby wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, hand soap, boys/girls underwear, dolls, clothes, batteries (AA, AAA, C & D). Please give your donations to Virginia Hardin or bring to the Women of Vision Christmas gathering on Saturday, December 3rd at 1:00 PMThe Women of Vision and the United Methodist Women will be hosting the Christmas Gathering on Saturday, December 3rd 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Please bring a covered dish to share. There will be gifts and fun for all in attendance. All women are invited to attend.

HOLD THAT DATE FOR HALLE-BRATION 2016: Prepare to join us for this year’s holiday celebration. Spread the word to your family and friends. The Vendor/Business application is available on the Welcome Center desk. If you have a business or know someone who may be interested, please take one. They are due back with complete payment by November 30th. Booths will be assigned based on the date of receipt. Contact either Kathye Lewis or Miriam Kinard if you have any questions. We will have some new children’s activities this year including face painting and a workshop on Anti-Bullying. Make your plans to be in the place. Like us on Facebook

HALLE-BRATION 2016 MEETING: We will have a meeting for those interested in volunteering for the Halle-Bration 2016 on Wednesday, November 16 at 5:30pm in the Bridges Room. We need greeters, monitors and those to help with setup and takedown. Please contact Kathye Lewis or Miriam Kinard if you have questions or are able to help. We will also have a New Vision table to sell Event T-shirts and you can see Mrs. Geraldine Calmeise to help with this. Thank you.
