WE NOW HAVE CASH APP AT NEW VISION! Cash App allows people to pay for things without using checks or credit cards. We are now set up to use it. It is only set up to receive cash, not allow requests for cash. After downloading the App on your phone, you can set it up to use it. The Cash App name for the church is $newvisionumcreading. People can search for this listing in Cash App to make their donations and payments. When we receive these contributions, we will handle them like we do our online contributions. We will create an envelope for them and give them to our Financial Secretary for recording. She will be able to verify them with the bank account information. Please make sure you complete the information on what the purpose is for your donation. If there are any questions about this procedure, please feel free to contact Kathye Lewis Norman. We hope that you will find this as a way to make your contributions easier.
Light UP New Vision Our Light up New Vision campaign is moving along. We are missing some members who have not participated yet. We need everyone to find their place in Lighting up New Vision. We all use the church whether it is for weddings, funerals, parties, exercise or ministries. You want it to be there for you when you need or want it. That is why it is important for you to support this work. We ask for you to continue to pray for our campaign and watch the changes!

All Saints Observance Sunday, November 4, 2019 All Saints Day (Nov 1st or the first Sunday in November) is a day of remembrance for the saints in our lives include all Christians of every time and place. We celebrate the communion of saints as we remember the dead, both of the church universal and of our local congregations. For this reason, the names of persons in the congregation who have died during the past year will be read during the service. Thank you for bringing pictures and mementos of your loved ones and friends to be displayed during service and lighting a candle in their memory.

Stewardship Moment-Psalm 34:10
Those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. Have you lost your job? Is there a possibility of you losing your home or going bankrupt? Are you in the toughest place you have ever been? Paul said “God will supply all your need.” Those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. Stand on God’s word today and declare: Lord, You said if I’m willing and obedient, I will enjoy the best You have to offer. We each have to ask ourselves, are we being obedient and do we trust God with our whole heart? Are we good stewards for Him and His church? If the answer is No, you can begin to make some changes today. Try moving towards a more fulfilled life of stewardship. You will be blessed. (Excerpts from The Word for You Today)
