BIBLE STUDY: Come join us for an intense Bible Study on the process and power of “Prayer” Tuesdays at 11:30 and/or 6pm.

THE FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY: Thanks all the members who volunteered at the Thanksgiving Community Luncheon, we served 300 meals and provided groceries to 170 families. We are most appreciative of the Students from Job Corps under the direction of Chief Kyle Nard and Precious Adams who gave of their time and talents to prepare and serve the meal.

WIDOW’S MITE GIVING: Please plan to participate in the Widow’s Mite Giving. The “Red Bag” coin collection will begin in November. Save all of your loose change and place in the red bag. Red bags will be available after the morning service the first Sunday in November. Coin wrappers will also be available if you prefer to roll your coins. We will collect the red bags during the month of December. If you have questions, please see Patricia Simmons or Sylvia Kennedy.

GRATEFUL DAY: This is a season of Thanksgiving and family. We have been blessed and are able to tell the story. Please consider a special offering to our church for Grateful Sunday on November 26. As we have done in the past, we will come together and reflect on the goodness of God in our lives and give a sacrificial offering to God for our church. This offering will support our Capital campaign and help us to move forward. Please be in prayer about your contribution. From Betty Smith and Charles Collins.

THE FLOWER CALENDAR: For 2018 will be available starting Sunday December 3rd. The cost for Altar Flowers is $45.00, if you share a Sunday the cost is $22.50 per person. The Altar Guild thanks all of the members and friends who donated flowers this year to beautify the Altar, we know we can count on your continued support in 2018. YOUTH LEADER VOLUNTEERS: Anyone who would like to be a youth leader to join our existing youth leaders build our youth program please see Pastor Worthen or Sis. Vanessa Bossard.

STUDYING TO SHOW OURSELVES APPROVED: New Vision’s current insightful and inspiring Sunday School classes will continue to be offered on Sundays at 9am. There is a sermon application session following worship led by Pastor Worthen. This Bible Study/discussion will be based on the sermon and gives everyone an opportunity to be in dialogue with one another about the message and how God’s Word can be applied in our lives. Everyone, members AND visitors are encouraged to participate in this time of fellowship and study, as it gives us an opportunity to ask questions, and to learn from and encourage one another.

MAKING A JOYFUL NOISE: Have song suggestions? Please submit song requests in writing in the suggestion box to the rear of the sanctuary. It may take time to get the song in the rotation, but we will do our best to bring around your favorite songs to the glory of God!

GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER: Have you had your one-on-one time with Pastor Worthen yet? This is a time to share your: hopes, dreams and thoughts and get to know her better for yourself. Please feel free to contact her directly via email ( or call or text to (937) 610-8267.

YOUTH PROGRAM KICKOFF: On November 26th, Sunday school for 9 through 12 year olds and high school aged youth immediately after service. December 3rd will be our official youth kick off with our youth game night immediately after service, food and fun will be served. If you would like your child or high school aged youth to be a part of the youth program please fill out the youth program participation form (Back table in sanctuary) and place completed forms inside youth folder. This allows for an accurate count for planning.

WOMEN OF VISION: The Christmas Gathering for all women and young girls will be held Saturday, December 2, 1:00 -3:00 pm. Please come out and join the fellowship!

ANNUAL HALLEBRATION: Come out to the 5th Annual HalleBration 2017 (a Hallelujah Celebration) on December 9, from 10 am to 4 pm at New Vision. This is a partnership with New vision, the Collective Empowerment Group and the African American Chamber. It is a fun day for the family with free gifts for the children, a Black Santa, Musical entertainment and two floors of shopping with African American and small businesses. Greet Bootsy Collins and get his autograph at his Cincinnati Listening Party for his new CD. There will be great gifts, clothes, food, jewelry and much, much more. See you on December 9, from 10 am-4 pm. Bring your family and friends. Don’t miss it.

THE LORETTA C. MANGGRUM CHORAL: Under the direction of Eric V. Oliver will be in concert at New Vision UMC, Sunday, December 10 am – 4 pm.
