READING FOR FUN:   Are you looking for something to do and perhaps a way to keep your child or even yourself occupied over The Thanksgiving & Christmas break?  Well, why not check out a book from our library!  It has already been stocked with Holiday Favorites.  As a matter of fact, let’s see how many books we can read as a church family before January 1, 2019.  Who knows there may be a prize or two? So let’s get started.  Read, read, and read because knowledge is power.  Remember there is no age limit on reading!

Cookie Time:  Please join in ministering to those in prison by baking homemade cookies during this Christmas season.  This token will help them to know that there are those who love them and are praying for them in their confinement.  Please note that packaged cookies will not be accepted.  The deadline is Sunday, December 16.  Virginia Hardin, Transforming Jail Ministry.

Address for Mellita Taylor:  Beginning November 26, Mellita Taylor’s new address will be 3274 Webb Ave., Detroit, Michigan 48206.  Phone number is 248-229-0944. Her last Sunday at New Vision will be December 2. Please feel free to stay in touch.

Dear The Word for You Today subscribers: It’s time to re-new your daily devotional The Word for You Today for the coming year 2019. The cost will be 6.50 per issues. In order for you to receive your daily devotional you must pay your money before you receive it, there will be no exceptions. The deadline will be the last Sunday of November the 25th.  Please see me and if you write a check please give it to me and I will turn it in for you, so you can get credit and I will know that you have paid your renewal for next year. Thanks Bonita

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.-Pr. 13:22

What’s your net worth? The word inheritance is used 203 times in the Bible, so God must think it’s important. In man’s kingdom, your “net worth” is the sum of all you own.  But in God’s kingdom your net worth equals the sum total of all you’ve given away.  What you don’t share is lost forever, but what you put into God’s hands becomes an eternal keepsake. We are worth only what we are willing to share with others.  What’s your net worth?  It’s the sum total of all you have given away.  Trust God and he will direct your giving.
