WE NOW HAVE CASH APP AT NEW VISION! Cash App allows people to pay for things without using checks or credit cards. We are now set up to use it. It is only set up to receive cash, not allow requests for cash. After downloading the App on your phone, you can set it up to use it. The Cash App name for the church is $newvisionumcreading. People can search for this listing in Cash App to make their donations and payments. When we receive these contributions, we will handle them like we do our online contributions. We will create an envelope for them and give them to our Financial Secretary for recording. She will be able to verify them with the bank account information. Please make sure you complete the information on what the purpose is for your donation. If there are any questions about this procedure, please feel free to contact Kathye Lewis Norman. We hope that you will find this as a way to make your contributions easier.

New Vision All Saints Observance Sunday, November 4, 2019 All Saints (Nov 1st or the first Sunday in November) is a day of remembrance for the saints. The saints in our lives include all Christians of every time and place. We celebrate the communion of saints as we remember the dead, both of the church universal and of our local congregations. For this reason, the names of persons in the congregation who have died during the past year are read during the service. We also will give congregants the opportunity to recognize deceased love ones and friends, by providing a place for pictures and keepsakes to be displayed during service and the lighting of candles in their memory.
New Vision is definitely a fellowship that is on the move! So, let’s get moving for real, on Sunday November 17th! Wear your Jericho t-shirt or any shirt, sweats and walking shoes, because we’re gonna walk together, on our own track! The Jericho Walls Walking Club event is for everyone. Invite your friends and neighbors! Walk from 8:30 -9:30 and/ or again at 11:30 – 12:30, after worship. Each walker who signs in and walks that morning will automatically be eligible for the special drawing, which will take place after service, the following Sunday, November 24th.

A STEWARDSHIP MOMENT
|We all have something we can do to help our church grow. It starts with you. It starts with knowing whose you are and how you can follow the word of God. Stewardship is your way of showing how much you love God. You do it with your time, talent and tithes. Take the time to know God in your own personal way and ask for Him to guide you in your walk in stewardship. We celebrate those who are working to improve God’s house with our lighting. We also celebrate those who are working to feed the hungry. Be a part of something you care about. Find the steward in YOU.|
