A Big Thank You to all the volunteers from New Vision who helped at the Thanksgiving Luncheon, Food Pantry Distribution, and Thanksgiving Basket distribution.  We served over 350 meals, gave out 150 bags of groceries and 50 Thanksgiving baskets. Chef Kyle and the Students from Job Corps did an outstanding Job preparing and serving the meals.

The Worship Committee would like to “Thank” everyone who had a hand in our tree.  The tree is lovely. The Chrismons (Christ Monograms) or symbols of Christ which are traditionally white and gold representing purity and majesty are beautiful. The Lights and Star are wonderful.  Also, your Prayers have been lifted and linked up and the Chain has been placed on the tree for the Advent Season

We ask for you to continue to pray for our campaign and watch the changes!

The Women of Vision’s outreach for 2019 is the Homeless Shelter for men on Gest Street in Cincinnati.  We are requesting donations for them as follows: combs, brushes, soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant, socks, underwear, t-shirts, washcloths, lip gloss, Vaseline, hand lotion. 2020 CENSUS REPORT:  As New Vision moves into 2020 we would like to know who we are.  So, we want to do our best to make sure that no one is left out, forgotten or overlooked.  Therefore, we are asking Everyone who is a member, worships, belongs and/or is affiliated with New Vision in any way to fill out a Survey Sheet and place it in the Offering Basket or in the basket in the back of the Sanctuary, by the end of December. We want everyone from the oldest to the youngest to fill out or have a survey filled out.  Thank you, in advance, for your participation and cooperation.

FOOD PANTRY:   Donations for the month of December is Jiffy Mix and Dry Beans.

God has given us different gifts!-Ro 12:6

As we come to the end of year, it is always a time of reflection.  As a church, we have accomplished a lot this year and it is due to us all having different gifts that can build on one another. A ministry is composed of several gifted individuals…led by a common vision God has birthed in its leader.  These individuals can typically be grouped into three categories: Visionary, Process oriented and Task oriented.  As you think about your stewardship in 2019 and what you would like to do in 2020, make sure you understand what gives you the emotional “high” in your work.  This is your area of giftedness.  When you understand and appreciate your gift and realize that we all have different gifts, there will be a blessing on our church and our ministries that will be too big for us to receive!  Let God lead your stewardship and release what is truly His to let it work in our body of Christ at New Vision!  (Excerpts from the Word for You Today)
