It felt like Epiphany: Thank You to everyone for your “Tokens of Love” this Christmas season.  Every card, expression, gift card and monetary gift has been greatly appreciated. As I sat and opened the envelopes, read the cards and enjoyed the gifts inside…it felt like Epiphany, the day when the Wisemen delivered their gifts to baby Jesus. Thank You New Vision Family and Friends. Pastor Jéaninne L. Walker

Thanks for thinking of me at Christmas time.  Your cards, prayers and monetary gifts are appreciated.  I pray that 2020 will be another year of progress at New Vision and together we can make it happen. Rev. David Brentley

God has given us different gifts!-Romans 12:6

As we come to the end of year, it is always a time of reflection.  As a church, we have accomplished a lot this year and it is due to us all having different gifts that can build on one another. A ministry is composed of several gifted individuals…led by a common vision God has birthed in its leader.  These individuals can typically be grouped into three categories: Visionary, Process oriented and Task oriented.  As you think about your stewardship in 2019 and what you would like to do in 2020, make sure you understand what gives you the emotional “high” in your work.  This is your area of giftedness.  When you understand and appreciate your gift and realize that we all have different gifts, there will be a blessing on our church and our ministries that will be too big for us to receive!  Let God lead your stewardship and release what is truly His to let it work in our body of Christ at New Vision!  (Excerpts from the Word for You Today)
