David was held in disdain by his own wife as he danced before the Lord. David exercised his right to celebrate the goodness of God in recovering the Ark of the Covenant. Michal mistook her husband’s actions as something vulgar rather than an intense expression of personal praise. How do we view others when their praise is loud or expressive? Does it offend us or offer us liberty? If you celebrate more in the secular than the spiritual, you might want to reexamine a few things and get radical for the Lord.
